Memory Leak with the latest Logi Options+
Exceptionally high memory usage by the latest version of Logi Options+. This is unacceptable. 6.28GB? Really?!!?!?

This is ridiculous. I can't believe this crippling bug remains unfixed in 2024.
I agree with @Piort Walaszek below: this obvious problem suggests that Logitech might be capable of producing appealing hardware but is incapable of the minimum acceptable quality you'd expect in the drivers.

for all software engineers this is obvious memory leak and it is old issue, never fixed properly just patch on patch and so on Good reason to avoid expensive logitech products.

This needs an immediate fix. Why does a mouse software leak 5gb of ram?

I have the same issue. 8.14GB!!!

Still over a year later

I also notice ram leakage on Mac mini m1 with 16 gb. It often climbs above 2 or 3 gb before I kill it. I would think this would be high priority. I have a mx mouse and keyboard (latest), and am not using it to swap between pc and Mac

I just had a pop-up from MacOS about my Mac running out of memory, I checked the usual culprits, which are browsers + Figma, and was surprised to see it was none of them, then I noticed a whopping 27 GB of Memory being used by Logi Options+?? Ridiculously for the companion app for my keyboard and mouse to have this kind of issue.

Absurd memory usage is crippling my machine. 5GB+ of RAM for what exactly?!

This has been a never ending issue for me. It affects my Windows 10 laptops and my Windows 11 laptops. It is exhausting having to kill the updater exe every once in a while because it's eating 4-6GB of RAM constantly!

Guys this is terrible - it can allocate 15GB or 20GB on MacOs so it's definitely a memory leak
