per-device firmware "check for update" button should check online if a firmware update is available, before launching the Firmware Update Tool. This wasted several minutes granting permissions/etc, then it still didn't find my devices (POP Keyboard+Mouse), and only after clicking link and going to website to see those devices aren't on the "supported" list.
