Options+ locks and holds ******* until deep permissions are granted in macOS. the explanations are not clear what the significance of these permissions are. For example, input monitoring permissions, which is everykeystroke, is requested as otherwise the application will not open. Logitech is a company with a longstanding repurtation with excellent products. In the security conscious era of 2022, it would be unfortunate for it's software to play ******* to functionality unless signficicant permissions are shared with it. If such perissions are truely needed, then why not move the listener to a self contained daemon which has such permissions, but is blocked from communicating with the internet (whether to logitech or to any other site should the data it has access to be extracted by malware on the computer).
