button assignments not working when logi options+ app is closed.

Hi,
I've noticed I need to keep the logi option + app open for the mouse button keystroke assignment to work. As soon as I close down the app (like I do with Logi Options, not the beta app) the custom assignment does not work.

My work around ATM, is to set the same config in Logi Options (not beta app) , then it seems to work all the time.

Is there something I'm doing wrong, or should look into more?
