There is a blank menu bar item which is highly associated with the app. I can get rid of with the blank menu bar item with running the command "sudo launchctl unload -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.logi.optionsplus.updater.plist" and killing the "Logi Options+" app (which invokes restarting the app).
