os: macOS 12.0.1 monterey
options+: 0.61.2670
connection: Bluetooth (not using unifying receiver)
devices: MX master 3 (keys, Mouse)

Randomly Options+ is showing my devices as "inactive" though they are connected and working. However, some things quit working as a result. I can't scroll on my mouse, the back/forward buttons don't work. On the keyboard the function keys don't work with the other mapped functionality. Turning off and on the deices doesn't work, I simply have to restart my macbook Pro to get them to show "active" and work properly.
