Today I was using a Vertical MX mouse, an MX Keys keyboard and a new Unifying receiver. The keyboard was not paired yet.

Options prompted me to update my devices firmware. It tried to update all the devices connected and ended up updating the receiver only.

Then I paired my keyboard and tried to trigger the firmware update process again but I couldn't: Options don't let me administer my keyboard (it sends me to Options+) and Options+ is missing the setting to update the firmware.

In the end I managed to update my keyboard firmware by downloading the firmware updater manually from Logitech website.

But I wanted to bring to your attention that some Options+ users may not be able to update some of their devices. So if you can prioritize to add an "Update firmware" menu to Options+ that would be great.
