I'm a software engineer, and I'm required to VPN all day, which breaks flow.

I'd propose a lesser version of flow for professional VPN users where you can define which edges of the screen will cause the mouse (and keyboard) to switch to a manually specified slot - eg go to the left edge would trigger the mouse and keyboard to switch to paired device 2)

This will allow the mouse and keyboard to travel across machines when we have to use VPNs or can't be on the same network for other reasons.

Or you could allow us to switch devices in a scriptable way, either document a DLL export that can do it, or provide a command line program that we can use in scripts.
